Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers are a family company. The Morrison Family have a long established history of Distilling being once owners of the famous (Morrison) Bowmore on Islay. The family are back in the Distilling business as owners of a new significant distillery in Perth called Aberargie. The Distillery is beautifully located in the centre of their own barley fields. They are also one of Scotland’s top Independent Bottlers, with a large inventory of rare casks to draw from.
Every few months the company reach into their cask store and select a new range to be bottled in their Strictly Limited ( 47-5%) or their Celebration of the Cask ranges. the latter bottled at cask strength.
Exceptional sherry matured casks are retained for the famous Black Gold bottling.
Perth was the original centre of Blending in Scotland. The company have recognized this Heritage with a range of Old Perth bottling, recently expressions of 21, 22 and 23 YO Blended Malts were released with an exceptional 46 YO Blended Grain…a chocolate bomb !
These Single Cask Blends are a very rare find and hard to repeat.
